Gardner-Webb improves to 3-5-0 (1-0-0 BSC) on the year, while Campbell falls to 2-4 (0-1-0 BSC).

Frey scored his first goal for the Runnin' Bulldogs in the sixth minute, when Reinhardsen found Frey with a perfect cross off a one touch pass from Al-Gashamy. His header past the diving keeper gave Gardner-Webb a 1-0 lead.
Olsen opened his collegiate goal account on the evening. This time, Al-Gashamy delievered a cross into the box and found Olsen for a free header to give Gardner-Webb a 2-0 lead with 24-minutes left in the first half.
Moldjord nearly put the Runnin' Bulldogs three goals clear in the 41st minute, when his vicious volley from 25 yards out caught a deflection and sailed inches wide. Gardner-Webb led 2-0 at the intermission.
Campbell cut the lead in the half in the 60th minute when Edward Fulwood reared back and put a curling strike in the back of the net from 35 yards out.
Gardner-Webb was led by Frey and Olsen, who each scored their first Gardner-Webb goals each. Campbell was led Fulwood, who had the lone goal (one shot, which was on goal) and Gideon Betz and Pepe Rangel, who both had three shots.
Gardner-Webb will resume play next Saturday, October 1, as they host Radford University. Kickoff is set for 1:00 pm.
