GWU Men Picked Fifth In 2006 A-Sun Cross Country Poll

Gardner-Webb's cross country team were predicted to finish fifth
in the 2006 preseason Atlantic Sun Conference men's coaches' poll
on Wednesday.
Coach Brian Baker's Runnin' Bulldogs return a solid young nucleus
from last season, anchored by juniors Lucas McAnaney and Alex
Nimmo, along with redshirt sophomore Joshua Hudson.
Belmont captured all 10 first-place votes, and was followed by
ETSU, Kennesaw State and Campbell.
GWU opens its season with a split squad schedule on September 1, as
the 'Dogs will travel to Appalachian State and the University of
South Carolina.
Gardner-Webb will host this year's Atlantic Sun Conference
Championships on Saturday, October 28.
