
Bulldogs Move Up After Day Two

ORLANDO, Fla. The Bulldogs were once again led by freshman Blake Palmer on Tuesday as he turned in a second round 75, +2, after leading the Bulldogs yesterday with a first round 72.
The Bulldogs followed up their first round 300, with a second round
score of 305 on Tuesday. The Dogs moved up a position,
passing Stetson for eighth place with a two-day score of 605,
+21.
Sophomore Geordie Hagerman and Joshua Philbeck followed close
behind Palmer, as they each carded second day scores of 76, +3.
Gardner-Webb`s Casey Flattery has registered a tournament-best 28
pars over 36 holes, as he finished with a second round 79, +6,
placing him in a tie at 44th place.
For the second day in a row, freshman Ryan Bell finished the day
with a 78, +5, placing him in a tie at 45th place going into day
three.
Jacksonville moved into the lead with an impressive second round
performance, as the Dolphins turned in a team score of 282, helping
them carry a two-stroke lead into the final day of competition.
Play will resume tomorrow with the first group teeing off at 7:40
am.
