September 15, 2006 | Men's Soccer
Boiling Springs, N.C. - The Gardner-Webb men's soccer team's season began back on the weekend of August 25-26, when the 'Dogs played host to three other schools as part the 2006 Jako Classic Tournament at Varsity Field.
In addition to the 'Dogs two tournament games, head coach Tony Setzer and his team gave back to the community.
On Saturday, August 26th, members of the GWU men's soccer team spent the day with the children of the GCCSA Cobra soccer club.
Kids of all ages had the chance to come out and play soccer with the college players, as both GWU coaches and players participated in the event.
