Hudson, McAneney, Nimmo Pace Second-Place Finish For GWU Harriers

GREENVILLE, N.C. - Josh Hudson and Lucas McAneney finished
second and third, individually, on Saturday at the ECU/McAlister's
Deli 8K,helping Gardner-Webb to a second-place team finish at the
event.
Hudson (St. Louis, Mo.) finished the race in 25:06, just 41 seconds
in front of McAnaney (25:47) to give GWU a solid finish - as Hudson
finished just four seconds off the winning pace.
Alex Nimmo took fourth among college racers, and fifth overall,
with a time of 26:44 to help GWU outdistance host East Carolina by
13 points for second position in the final team standings.
Tim Israel took 14th Charlie Steinke finished 21st and Justin
Keziah finished 23rd to round out the scoring for the Bulldogs -
who returned to action after a week off.
Gardner-Webb will host its own meet this Friday, October 6, in
Boiling Springs - which will be a preview meet for the upcoming
A-Sun Championships (October 28) in Boiling Springs.
