Two Earn A-Sun All-Conference Honors

MACON, Ga. – Two Gardner-Webb women's soccer student-athletes were honored by the Atlantic Sun Conference, earning all-conference accolades, as announced by the league office.
Midfielder Angie Harvey earned first-team status while forward Lindsey Gladhill was named to the second team for the second consecutive season.
Harvey, a junior from Middletown, Md., was third on the team with six points, notching two goals and two assists on the year. Harvey started all 18 matches and knocked home the game-winning goal in the 2-1 win over Stetson off a free kick.
Gladhill, a senior from Thurmont, Md., also started all 18 matches this season, while concluding her career having started all 68 matches in which she played. Gladhill led the Bulldogs with 18 points on a team-best nine goals. Two of her goals were of the game-winning variety, recording the golden goal in the 2-1 win over Nicholls State and the 1-0 victory over Lipscomb.
Annie Phillips of Kennesaw State was named conference Player of
the Year while Lipscomb's goalkeeper Katie Shelton was named
Defensive Player of the Year. Mercer's Grant Serafy earned Coach of
the Year honors and Florida Gulf Coast's Lindsey Haw garnered
Freshman of the Year accolades.
