Blustery Winds Postpone Lady Netters Match with Charlotte

Boiling Springs, N.C. - The Gardner-Webb women's tennis team had their second match in the last four days postponed due to weather conditions.
The Lady Bulldogs non-conference match with the 49ers of Charlotte scheduled for Thursday afternoon was postponed due to high winds. This schedule change is coming off the heels of the postponement of last Sunday afternoons match at Western Carolina, which was moved to April 14 due to inclement weather conditions.
The winds were over 20 mph and thus, according to the NCAA rules allow the tennis match to be called.
The match at this time has yet to be rescheduled.
The Lady Bulldogs (2-5) will return to action on the road this weekend, when they will travel to Deland, Florida to face off with in conference rival Stetson University. The match is scheduled to start at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 24.
