Somerset, N.J. – The NEC honored The Gardner-Webb women's swim team again on Wednesday afternoon, as the Lady Bulldogs placed 11 student-athletes on the 2006-07 NEC Winter Academic Honor Roll.

The 11 Bulldogs were comprised of three seniors, five juniors and three sophomores.

Seniors Camille Palacio, Kathryn Williams and Terra Wilson were all named to their NEC Academic honor roll for their third consecutive year.

Juniors Whitney Hooley, Isabel Olivas, Lindsay Palmer, Heather Roka and Grace Whiteside all were named to the academic honor roll for the second straight year, while sophomores Mallory Blessing, Carrie Kibler and Beth Long earned their first spot.

This marks the second straight year in which the GWU women's swim team has 10 or more members named to the NEC Academic honor roll.

The NEC's winter academic honor roll consists of 272 student-athletes from all the winter sports teams.
