Morrison Scores Big South Player of the Week

Senior midfielder Bradley Morrison was selected as the Big South Conference Choice Hotels Men's Soccer Player of the Week for games played Oct. 6-12, it was announced Tuesday by the League office.
Morrison posted two goals in route to a 2-1 Bulldog win over first-place Coastal Carolina Sunday afternoon. His first goal came in the seventh minute of action off a cross from the left side by Matt Niescierowicz to put the Bulldogs ahead 1-0. His second goal proved to be the game-winner in the 70th minute, as he kicked in a rebounded shot from Miguel Pinzon to lift the Bulldogs to the win.
The honor marks the first-ever Gardner-Webb player to be named the Big South's Men's Soccer Player of the Week.
