Gardner-Webb Adds One To Solid Recruiting Class

– Head women's basketball coach Rick Reeves, in conjunction
with the Gardner-Webb athletics department has announced the
signing of Cierra Harris to a National Letter of Intent.
Harris will join Brianna Dillard and Kimberly
McKenney next fall when they arrive on campus to begin their
collegiate careers.
Harris, a 6-0 post player from nearby Dorman H.S., guided her team
to a 23-5 record a season ago. After a tremendous junior year,
Harris's squad was the preseason favorite to win the class 4-A
state championship.
"Cierra is a local young lady," Reeves said. "She will be a
tremendous addition to our program. Cierra is a tough, physical
player. She will be playing behind some experienced frontcourt
student-athletes, but Cierra will make a big impact while in school
at Gardner-Webb. She has a bright future with unlimited
potential."
Harris will join a team that returns everyone from the 2008-09 season, the team's first year in the Big South Conference.
