Rain Causes Women's Tennis Match to End Early
March 19, 2008 | Women's Tennis
The women's tennis team fell, 0-4, to Jacksonville last Saturday. The match was interrupted by rain a couple of times before JU could get the fourth point, and the match was called soon after. The loss drops Gardner-Webb to 5-10 overall and 2-4 in the A-Sun.
The teams began the match with singles play in hopes of determining a winner before the rain came and JU did just that by taking four of the six singles matches.
The only matches that did not finish were the number one and five seeds.
