Time Change For Saturday's Match

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. - The Gardner-Webb athletics department and head women's soccer coach Kevin Mounce have announced a change in Saturday's start time for the Gardner-Webb-Florida Gulf Coast match that will be played at Greene-Harbison Stadium.
The two teams will now play at 1 p.m., instead of the previously slated 2 p.m. time slot.
The Bulldogs head into the contest with a 1-2 mark while the Eagles are 2-1. A year ago, GWU was in its last season of A-Sun competition while FGCU was in its first year after moving up from Division II.
The match is the last one at home for the Bulldogs in the month of September. The Red and Black will not play in front of its home fans agaain until the Big South home opener on Oct. 1 at 7 p.m. against fellow Big South newcomer Presbyterian.
