BOILING SPRINGS - Gardner-Webb returns home to face a key Big
South Conference clash with Charleston Southern Saturday, as the
two teams kick off at 11:30 am Saturday at Norman Harris Field /
Spangler Stadium.
The Runnin' Bulldogs (3-2, 1-0 Big South) will be on their home
turf for the first time since a 58-14 win in the season opener vs.
Mars Hill, and will face a fresh Charleston Southern team (2-3, 0-0
Big South) that is riding a two-game win streak following an open
date.
Saturday's game will be televised live on SportSouth, with Mark
Bryant and Brian Jordan calling the action.
As part of a special "Breakfast with the Bulldogs" promotion with
McDonald's of Boiling Springs and participating McDonald's in
Rutherford County, fans who purchase a breakfast at one of the
participating locations will be given a ticket to Saturday's
game.
The game marks the earliest start time for Gardner-Webb since
lights were re-installed in Spangler Stadium prior to the 1995
season.
