
Gardner-Webb's George Partin Named CCSA Men's Swimmer Of The Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C- Gardner-Webb swimmer George Partin has been named Men's Swimmer of the Week for meets competed from October 19th to 25th, as announced by the Coastal Collegiate Swimming Association.
Partin, a junior from Lilburn, Ga., won four individual events over the weekend for Gardner-Webb. Friday evening at UNC Wilmington, he won the 200 free timing in at 1:45.42 and the 100 free with a time of 48.23. Saturday against Catawba, he timed in fastest in the 200 free at 1:50.10 and was part of the winning team in the 200 free relay with a time of 1:30.52.
Gardner-Webb's men's swim team will return to action on November 6th as they travel to Gaffney, SC to take on Limestone College. The meet is set to take place at 6:30 PM.
