GWU' s Meyer Named Big South Conference Women's Golfer of the Week

Charlotte, N.C. - Gardner-Webb junior Courtney Meyer was named the Choice Hotels Big South Men's and Women's Golfer of the Week for events played Oct. 22-28, it was announced today by the Conference office.
Meyer paced the Lady Bulldogs with an 8-over 152 (78-74) to finish
fourth overall at the Boscobel Intercollegiate (par 72, 5,989
yards). Meyer's second round 74 was the lowest round for the Lady
Bulldogs over the two-day event. Gardner-Webb's second-place finish
was its highest team finish this fall season.
Meyer, who was named to the 2009 Big South All-Conference Team last
spring, is a third time recipient of the weekly conference award,
having won it back on September 12th and April 2nd of last
season.
