Gardner-Webb's Kim Zachensky Named CCSA Women's Swimmer Of The Week

CHARLOTTE, NC- The Coastal Collegiate Swimming Association (CCSA) has named Gardner-Webb's Kim Zachensky as it's Women's Swimmer of the Week for her actions in meets competed from November 16-22.
Zachensky, a freshman from Marietta, Ga., broke two CCSA records, as well as five school records this past weekend at the Georgia Tech Fall Invitational in Atlanta, Ga. Her second place finish, with a time of 1:03.29, in the 100 yard breaststroke set a Conference record, as well as her team's time of 1:43.85 in the 200 yard medley relay. Her 6th place finish in the 200 yard breaststroke, with a time of 2:19.49, set a school record, including her split times in the 200 yard medley relay (28.79) and 400 yard medley relay (1:02.02).
Gardner-Webb's women's swim team will return to action on January 15th as they travel to Statesboro, Ga. to take part in a two-day meet competing against Georgia Southern, North Florida, and Florida Gulf Coast.
