GAME NOTES: Gardner-Webb Travels To Face Coastal Carolina In Crucial Big South Conference Tilt

BOILING SPRINGS - Gardner-Webb will hit the road for the first
time in three weeks Saturday, traveling to face Coastal Carolina at
12:30 pm in Conway, S.C.
The Runnin' Bulldogs (5-3, 2-1 Big South) will look to snap a
five-game losing streak to the Chanticleers (3-5, 1-2 Big South),
which dates back to a 38-17 win by GWU in 2003.
Coastal Carolina has dropped three games in a row for just the
second time in program history, following a 49-3 decision at ACC
contender Clemson last weekend. GWU is coming off a heartbreaking,
24-14, loss to Stony Brook on Homecoming.
The Chants topped Gardner-Webb 23-18 last Nov. 8 in Boiling Springs
in a tight game.
Coastal nipped GWU 17-14 two seasons ago in Conway.
