
Bulldogs Earn No. 4 Seed in 2009 Big South Men's Tennis Championship

The Gardner-Webb men's tennis team claimed the No. 4 seed in this year's Big South Men's Tennis Championship, finishing 3-3 in conference action. The #56 ranked Radford Highlanders notched the No. 1 seed after claiming its fourth-straight Big South regular-season title.
The 2009 Big South Men's Tennis Championship begins Thursday, April 16 with two matches, continues Friday with two matches and concludes with the Championship game on Saturday, April 18 at 1:00pm. The Big South's Tournament champion receives an automatic bid to the NCAA Men's Tennis Championship.
Tournament host Winthrop earns second place at 5-1 while Coastal Carolina secures the third spot with a 4-2 record. 1-4 Liberty notches the No. 5 seed and UNC Asheville earns the No. 6 seed with a 0-6 record.
