Kriett Named Big South Academic All-Conference

Graduating junior Laura Kriett was named to the Big South's
Academic All-Conference Team on Wednesday evening, April 15, at the
League's tennis awards banquet held at McBryde Hall on the campus
of Winthrop University.
This marks the third consecutive year Kriett has received
All-Academic honors as she was previously named to the Atlantic
Sun's All-Academic Teams during her freshman and sophomore
campaigns.
In only three years at Gardner-Webb, Kriett will be graduating with
her International Business degree, while holding a 3.67 cumulative
GPA.
On the court, Kriett finished with a 10-13 mark on the year, taking
her career wins total to 35 at the No. 1 singles flight. In doing
so, she has set a new standard of play for the Gardner-Webb women's
program.
After graduating, Kriett plans to enroll in Dental School in her
home country of Germany.
