Meyer Named Big South Women's Golfer of the Week

Gardner-Webb sophomore Courtney Meyer (Rensselaer, Ind.) has
been named the Choice Hotels Big South Women's Golfer of the Week
for events played March 26-April 1, it was announced today by the
League office.
Meyer recorded her first-ever Top 5 finish with her fourth-place
finish at the Larry Nelson Invitational (par 72, 5,974 yards) to
help the Bulldogs to the team title. She carded a team-low round 71
(-1) in round two to bounce back from an opening round 80 and move
back into contention for the individual crown. Meyer finished with
a 229 (80-71-78), just three strokes out of second-place and nine
away from the medalist.
