
Four Gardner-Webb Women's Swimmers Honored For Academic Achievements

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C.- At Gardner-Webb's fall convocation, four GWU swimmers were recognized for their academic achievements.
Tory Bryant and Sarah Stokes, both juniors, received the two-year scholastic achievement award for their 4.0 cumulative GPA'S.
Both girls have been finalists at the 2008 & 2009 CCSA Swimming Championships.
In addition, two incoming freshmen, Michelle Palacio and Elizabeth Charter, were presented with prestigious academic awards from GWU president Dr. Frank Bonner.
Palacio, from Charlotte, N.C., received a presidential fellow award. Charter, from Lilburn, Ga., received an academic fellow award.
The Gardner-Webb women's swimming season kicks off October 16th versus East Carolina at the Gardner-Webb Aquatics Center.
