GWU's Ivanovich Tagged Big South Co-Player of the Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Gardner-Webb defender Jovan Ivanovich was selected as the Big South Conference Choice Hotels Men's Soccer Co-Players of the Week for games played Sept. 21-27, it was announced today by the League office. Ivanovich shared the weekly honor with Coastal Carolina defender Alex Russell.
Ivanovich, a sophomore from London, Ontario, led a defensive line
that held Big South foes Presbyterian and Radford scoreless to push
the Bulldogs' record to 2-0 in the Big South. He keyed a defense
that allowed just 15 shots in 180 minutes of action, including only
three shots on goal.
Ivanovich is the second Bulldog to receive the conference weekly
honor, as redshirt-senior Gerard Hefferon earned the Player of the
Week award on September 9.
