Runnin' Bulldogs Tip Off Big South Play Thursday At High Point

BOILING SPRINGS - Gardner-Webb hits the road Thursday to open
Big South Conference play, heading to High Point, N.C., for a 7 pm
battle with the High Point Panthers (MASN).
The Runnin' Bulldogs (5-3) are coming off a solid 2-1 weekend in
Williamsburg, Va., that saw the team record a pair of wins over
more experienced squads from Western Carolina and Mercer.
Jon Moore earned a spot on the All-Sub-regional squad after netting
32 points in the 78-63 win over Mercer on the final day.
The 6-foot-4 senior scored 20 of his career-high total in the first
half and finished the weekend by making an impressive 20-of-24 free
throws.
Thursday's game at High Point will be televised live on MASN
(Mid-Atlantic Sports Network), which is available on DirecTV and
Dish Network.
Matt Hogue and Nate Ross will serve as talent for that
broadcast.
The game will also air on WGWG-FM (88.3), with Fabian Fuentes
providing the call. The audio will also be available on wgwg.org,
the station's website.
