
GWU Women's Basketball Continues Rise in Mid-Major Poll

Boiling Springs, N.C. - The Gardner-Webb women's basketball team continued its ascent in the Collegeinsider.com Women's Mid-Major Top-25 poll this week, moving up to No. 13 overall.
This week, GWU received 317 points to move up three places from No. 16 last week to No. 13 this week.
This week marks the eighth-straight week in which GWU has been in the top-25 of the mid-major poll.
Gardner-Webb (7-3) is on a five-game winning streak, it's longest of the season to date.
Gardner-Webb will host the Purdue Boilermakers out of the Big Ten on Wednesday, December 22nd, at 7 p.m.
The women's Mid-Major Top 25 is comprised of teams from the America East, Atlantic Sun, Big Sky, Big South, Big West, Colonial, Great West, Horizon, Independents, Ivy, Metro Atlantic, Mid-American, Mid-Eastern, Missouri Valley, Northeast, Ohio Valley, Patriot, Southern, Southland, Southwestern, Summit, Sun Belt and West Coast Conference.
