
GWU Women's Basketball to Host Tennessee Temple on December 29th

Boiling Springs, N.C. - The Gardner-Webb women's basketball team will look to get back on the winning track and bounce back from a gut wrenching 59-58 loss to Purdue on December 22nd, as the Runnin' Bulldogs host the Lady Crusaders of Tennessee Temple on Wednesday, December 29th, at 7 p.m. in Paul Porter Arena.
Gardner-Webb is coming off its first home loss of the season, as Purdue hit a late three-pointer to defeat the Runnin' Bulldogs 59-58 in Paul Porter Arena back on December 22nd.
Senior guard Dominique Hudson led the offensive charge for the Runnin' Bulldogs with 20 points and seven assists, while the Runnin' Bulldogs, despite the absence of 6-6 redshirt-senior Sandra Vaitkute, outscored the Boilermakers in the paint for the game.
The Runnin' Bulldogs are 1-0 versus the Lady Crusaders of Tennessee Temple, defeating TTU 83-51 in Paul Porter Arena back in 2008-09.
Tennessee Temple, a member of the NCCAA, is 2-10 this season with wins over Southeastern College and Bryan College.
Tip-off for the non-conference match up slated for Wednesday night is scheduled for 7 p.m.
