Runnin' Bulldogs Wrap Up Six-Game Road Trip at Longwood on Sunday Afternoon at 2 p.m.

Boiling Springs, N.C. - Gardner-Webb will look to end its six-game road trip with a win, as the Runnin' Bulldogs will take on the Longwood Lancers at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 5th, in Willett Hall in Farmville, Va.
Gardner-Webb has won its last two games after dropping three straight contests for the first time since 2008-09.
The Runnin' Bulldogs picked up a 59-48 road win at Kennesaw State on Thursday night, as Gardner-Webb overcame a poor shooting night with its solid team defense to hold the Lady Owls to only six made field goals in the final 20 minutes of play to secure the 59-48 non-conference road win.
The win, which saw senior forward LaTroya Pope pick up her second double-double of the season with a team-high 15 points and 11 rebounds, was the Runnin' Bulldogs second on the road and the 99th career win for head coach Rick Reeves during his time at Gardner-Webb University.
GWU is 2-1 all-time versus Longwood with the lone loss coming in Farmville, Va. back in 2007-08. However, the Runnin' Bulldogs are also 2-1 in the Willett Hall, as GWU won two games there last year in the Longwood Lancer Classic.
Longwood is 1-5 on the season and 1-3 at home this year. The Lancers have dropped five straight games after winning its season opener at home 71-48 over Campbell.
The Lancers are led by Brittanni Billups, who is averaging a team-high 13.0 points and 8.0 rebounds per game, while Chelsea Crawford and Bria White are averaging 10.7 and 9.0 points per game, respectively, this season.
Tip-off is slated for 2 p.m. on Sunday afternoon in Willett Hall on the campus of Longwood University.
