GWU Alum Margaret Roundtree Named MVP of the Week in Finland

Barcelona, Spain - Gardner-Webb alum and 2009-10 Big South Women's Basketball Player of the Year Margaret Roundtree won the MVP of the tenth round in the Finnish League last week.
Roundtree, who plays for HonSu Finland - A1, is currently averaging 17.2 points and 8.9 rebounds per game in her first European experience after a good career at Gardner-Webb.
Honsu had a bad start to the season, but lately has won three
out of the last four games with one win coming against Peka, one of
the strongest contenders for the championship this season.
Taru Tuukkanen´s ToPo was Honsu´s rival this week and
Roundtree scored 28 points (12/15 from the field) and grabbed
seven rebounds in the win.
