Women's Tennis Sweeps Doubleheader Against North Greenville and Pfeiffer Saturday Afternoon

BOILING SPRINGS, NC - The Gardner-Webb women's tennis team swept Saturday's doubleheader against North Greenville and Pfeiffer, winning both matches by a score of 6-1 at the Webb Tennis Complex.
The first match of the day was against North Greenville, where the Lady Bulldogs swept through doubles play to earn the doubles point, and the only match that was dropped to the Lady Crusaders was at the No. 4 position where Kasey Ellis had to retire during the first set of the match.
The second match of the day was against Pfeiffer, and the Lady Bulldogs won all matches expect for the matches that were forfeited due to Ellis' injury.
Gardner-Webb will next be in action this Wednesday afternoon as they travel to take on Big South Conference foe UNC Asheville at 2:00 PM.
