BIG SOUTH 'MUSCO WOMEN'S SPOTLIGHT' FEATURE: COURTNEY MEYER
March 31, 2010 | Women's Golf
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (BigSouthSports.com) - The Big South Conference, in conjunction with Collegiate Partner Musco Sports Lighting, continues its student-athlete feature called the "Musco Women's Spotlight," with Gardner-Webb junior women's golfer Courtney Meyer (Rensselaer, Ind.) as this month's profile.
With the Big South Women's Golf Championship teeing off in early
April, Meyer ranks fourth in the Conference with a team-best 76.25
scoring average, and is fourth in the League with three Top 10
finishes this year. She is looking to earn her second Big South
All-Conference honor after making the team as a regular-season
selection in 2009. In this month's profile, the one-time
basketball player talks about her late start on the links, the
reason she started playing golf, and the three individuals she
would play a round of golf with.
