GAME NOTES: Gardner-Webb Hits The Road To Face Sam Houston State

BOILING SPRINGS - Gardner-Webb hits the road for the first of
three-straight road games, flying to Texas to face Sam Houston
State at 7 pm ET Saturday.
The Runnin' Bulldogs (2-1) are coming off a disappointing loss to
Western Carolina, which saw GWU turn the football over six times
(five interceptions) and fall to the Catamounts despite holding a
decisive statistical edge.
Sam Houston State (0-2) will be playing at home for the first time
this season, and for the only time in its first six weeks. The
Bearkats are in their first season under head coach Willie Fritz,
who built a sterling reputation as a head coach of the NCAA
Division II powerhouse Central Missouri Mules. Saturday's game will
air live on the Southland Television Network in Texas and
Louisiana, and will be televised via tape delay on Sunday evening
at 6:00 pm ET on Fox College Sports Pacific.
