GWU to Take on Campbell in Big South Tournament First Round Match

Boiling Springs, N.C. - With an improbable late-season run, Gardner-Webb women's soccer has earned a berth in the Big South Conference tournament and a matchup with the Campbell Camels on Thursday at 4:30 pm at Blackbaud Stadium in Daniel Island, S.C.
The Runnin' Bulldogs carry a 4-4-2 regular season conference record and the #6 seed into the tournament, numbers which look impressive considering the Runnin' Bulldogs won four of their last five matches in Big South play.
GWU, a team that made it to the Big South Championship game as the #7 seed a season ago, will look to keep some of that late-season magic going heading into the tournament.
Gardner-Webb and Campbell faced off on September 29 in Buies Creek, N.C. with the Camels prevailing at home.
