Gardner-Webb Men's Tennis Falls to Coastal Carolina 7-0

CONWAY, S.C. - The Gardner-Webb men's tennis team fell to Coastal Carolina Sunday afternoon. The Runnin' Bulldogs fall to 5-6, while the Chanticleers improve to 6-0.
Action began in doubles play, where the duo of Andrew Veeder and Andrew Carter defeated Matt Gordon and Peter Billingham (8-6) at the No. 1 position, yet Coastal Carolina won the remaining two matches to earn the doubles point.
In singles play, the Chanticleers won all six matches to earn the sweep.
The Runnin' Bulldogs return to action on Tuesday, March 1st as they take on Wofford. The match is set for a 2:30 start time in Spartanburg, S.C.
