Gardner-Webb Women's Tennis Falls to Charleston Southern, 4-3, Saturday Afternoon

CHARLESTON, S.C. - The Gardner-Webb women's tennis team fell to Charleston Southern Saturday afternoon in Big South play by a 4-3 score.
Gardner-Webb (5-2) earned the doubles point, taking two of the three matches.
In singles play, Ioana Oprea defeated Marija Dzakovic (7-6(4), 2-6, 6-2) at the No. 2 position and Ronia Hutterli defeated Heather Isbell (6-1, 6-4).
The Runnin' Bulldogs will return to action this Thursday afternoon, hosting Wofford at 2:00 PM at the Webb Tennis Complex.
