
Runnin' Bulldogs Fall to Georgia State, 6-1, Saturday Afternoon

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. - The Gardner-Webb men's tennis team fell to Georgia State Saturday afternoon by a 6-1 score at the Webb Tennis Complex.
The match began with doubles play, where the duo of Roman Piftor and Julien Belair defeated Breon Badger and Vincent Verpeaux (8-1) at the No. 2 position, yet the Panthers took the remaining two matches to claim the point.
In singles action, Piftor defeated Lucas Santana (7-6 (5), 6-3) at the No. 5 position, yet Georgia State took the remaining matches to wrap up the overall decision.
The Runnin' Bulldogs will quickly turn around as they travel to Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, with the match set for a 1:00 PM start time.
