GWU's Daniel Kim Tabbed Big South Men's Golfer of the Week

Charlotte, N.C. - Gardner-Webb sophomore Daniel Kim has been named the Choice Hotels Big South Men's Golfer of the Week, announced today by the Big South Conference office.
Kim tied for 10th at the Furman Intercollegiate (par 72, 6,994 yards) with a 1-under par 215 (76-69-70) for his second top-10 finish of the season. Outside the top-50 scores after round one, Kim carded the third-lowest round on the second day with a 3-under 69, and followed with a 2-under par 70 in the final round to help Gardner-Webb tie for seventh as a team - the highest finisher of the four Big South teams in the event. Kim posted a team-high 11 birdies over the three rounds and was the Runnin' Bulldogs top finisher for the fifth consecutive tournament.
Kim is the second Runnin' Bulldog golfer to receive the conference weekly honor this season, as junior Kristopher Gray earned the weekly honor back on November 4th during the fall season.
