GWU's Hutschalik and Rucker Compete at Texas Relays

Austin, Texas - Gardner-Webb student-athletes Christoph Hutschalik and Johnathan Rucker each competed at this weekend at the 84th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays presented by State Farm and hosted by the University of Texas in Austin, Texas.
Hutschalik recorded a 10th-place finish in the hammer throw event with a distance of 59.85 meters, while Rucker crossed the finish line with a time of 14.73 in the 110 meter hurdle preliminaries to place 26th overall.
Hutschalik and Rucker, as well as the rest of the Gardner-Webb outdoor track & field teams will return to action next week, April 13-16th, at the Sea Ray Relays in Knoxville, Tennessee.
