GWU Men's Tennis Adds Ernest Alberch to 2011 Recruiting Class

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. - The Gardner-Webb men's tennis program has added Ernest Alberch to its 2011 recruiting class.
Alberch comes to Boiling Springs from Torello, Spain, located in the Catalonia region near Barcelona. Alberch is a top-5 player from the Catalonia region and is ranked in the top-250 among all tennis players, junior and adult, in Spain. He held a 18-under junior ranking of 55 and was also ranked in the top-300 among all juniors in Europe. He intends to major in Business Administration at Gardner-Webb.
Alberch joins the previously signed trio of Blake Dunlap, Brendan Dempsey, and Stephan Martin for the upcoming 2011-12 season.
