
GWU's Daniel Kim Wraps Up His Play at 111th U.S. Amateur Championship

Erin Hills, Wisconsin - Gardner-Webb junior golfer Daniel Kim wrapped up his play at the 111th U.S. Amateur Championship on Wednesday afternoon, as he carded a two-round combined score of 152, +10.
Kim, who failed to make the cut, carded a first round 75 on Tuesday and a second round 77 on Wednesday to finish his tournament run with a two-round combined score of 152, +10, and in a tie for 247th-place overall.
For the two days, Kim carded four birdies, 23 pars and shot an even score on par 3's for the tournament.
Kim was the first-ever Gardner-Webb golfer to qualify for the U.S. Amateur Championship earlier this month.
