SERIES VS. UNC GREENSBORO
This is the first meeting between these two schools in women's basketball despite being only approximately 140 miles apart.
FIRST TIME FOR EVERYTHING
The Runnin' Bulldogs are 3-0 to the start of a season for the first-time in its 13-year NCAA Division I history. GWU's best start prior to this season was 8-1 back in 2009-10 when the Runnin' Bulldogs won a program high 28 games.
MATCHING LAST YEAR'S MARK
GWU's next win this season, which will be victory number four on the year, will match last year's season win total as the Runnin' Bulldogs went 4-25 overall in 2011-12.
NEW FOE, BUT A FAMILIAR FACE
First-year UNC Greensboro assistant coach LaToya Carter is a former GWU women's basketball player and assistant coach under head coach Rick Reeves. Carter joined the UNCG staff this summer after serving two years as an assistant coach at GWU.
GWU WILL REMAIN ON THE ROAD AT BOONE TUESDAY NIGHT
Gardner-Webb will remain on the road to take on the Mountaineers of Appalachian State on Tuesday night, November 20th, at 6 p.m. in Boone, N.C.
