SERIES VS. APPALACHIAN STATE
The Runnin' Bulldogs are 3-2 versus the Mountaineers of Appalachian State, as all five meetings have come over the last five years. Despite holding a slight edge in the overall series, the Mountaineers have won the last two meetings. GWU's last win over the Mountaineers was a 70-58 win at home back in 2009-10.
DOUBLE-DOUBLE X 3
Gardner-Webb junior center Catrina Green has recorded three straight double-doubles, including 20 points and a career-high 17 rebounds in the loss to UNC Greensboro on Nov. 17. Green is averaging a double-double of 13.0 points and 11.3 rebounds per game through the first four games of the season.
MATCHING LAST YEAR'S MARK
GWU's next win this season, which will be victory number four on the year, will match last year's season win total as the Runnin' Bulldogs went 4-25 overall in 2011-12.
ROAD WORRIES
The Runnin' Bulldogs are looking for its first win on the road since defeating Radford, 59-55, in overtime back in on February 27 of last season. Including last week's loss at UNC Greensboro, the Runnin' Bulldogs are only 2-14 in its last 16 road contests.
GWU HOSTS ASBURY ON SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 24TH
Gardner-Webb will return from the Thanksgiving break to host Asbury at 7 p.m. on Saturday, November 24th, in Paul Porter Arena.
