The Runnin' Bulldogs are 5-1 all-time versus the Lady Eagles of NCCU on the hardwood. Gardner-Webb has won four straight over the N.C. Central Lady Eagles dating back to the 2008-09 season. GWU is a perfect 3-0 at home against the Lady Eagles of NCCU with the last win coming back in 2010-11 in Paul Porter Arena.

Entering play this week, GWU was ranked 31st in the nation in field goal defense at 33.4 %, which has dropped to 33 % with its win over Wofford on Wednesday afternoon. GWU was also ranked 23rd in the nation in rebound margin (9.4), 69th in steals per game (11.2) and 72nd in blocks per game (4.3).
HOT HAND FROM DOWNTOWN
The Runnin' Bulldogs have had a hot hand from behind the three-point arc over the last three games shooting 19-of-38 for a percentage of 50 percent overall. GWU has made at least five three-pointers in each of its last three contests and is averaging 6.3 made three pointers over the span.
SENIOR DAY COME EARLY
Gardner-Webb will recognize its two seniors, Cierra Harris and Kim McKenney, who are both out for the season due to career-ending injuries, prior to the tip-off at 2 p.m. on Saturday afternoon in Paul Porter Arena.

GWU RETURNS TO THE COURT AFTER THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY
GWU will return to the court on Friday, December 28th, as the Runnin' Bulldogs will head south to take on the Kennesaw State Lady Owls in a non-conference showdown at 6 p.m. in Kennesaw, Ga.
