GWU's Austin Trott Recognized in Amateur Wrestling News

Boiling Springs, N.C. - Gardner-Webb freshman Austin Trott, who is redshirting this season for the Runnin' Bulldog wrestling team, is ranked in this year's Amateur Wrestling News (AWN) Redshirt & Non-Starter Rankings released today.
Trott, who is from Kingsland, Ga., is ranked eighth overall in the nation at 157 pounds.
While wrestling unattached this season in a number of open meets, Trott has posted a 13-3 overall record, which includes a first-place finish at The Citadel Open and a third-place showing at the King College Open.
Trott, who recorded a season-long seven-match winning streak to start the season, has registered six pins, four technical fall victories and two major decision wins.
