
GWU's Kristopher Gray Earns Big South Conference Postseason Honors

Charlotte, N.C. - Gardner-Webb male golfer Kristopher Gray received two postseason honors, as the senior from Newcastle, England was named to the 2012 Big South Men's Golf All-Conference Team and the 2012 Big South Men's Golf All-Academic Team, announced the League office on Sunday night.
Heading into the 2012 Big South Conference Men's Golf Championship this week, Gray ranks second overall in the Big South Conference with a stroke average of 71.59 on the season and has posted five top-10 finishes on the year.
The three-time Big South Men's Golfer of the Week in 2011-12, was a medalist at both the Donald Ross Intercollegiate and at The Hummingbird Intercollegiate and has been the top GWU performer in four of the eight tournaments in which the Runnin' Bulldogs have participated in this season.
Gray, who is on schedule to graduate this May, has a cumulative grade point average of 3.5003 during his time at Gardner-Webb while working toward his degree in Marketing.
The two Big South Conference postseason awards are the first in Gray's four-year career at GWU.
