Herd and Howell Earn First Place Finishes at Irwin Belk Invitational

Buies Creek, N.C. - Sarah Herd took top honors in the High Jump and Ann Marie Howell finished first in the Pole Vault as the two Runnin' Bulldog seniors competed at the Irwin Belk Invitational Saturday.
Herd (Cherryville, N.C.) recorded a height of 1.65 m, achieving first place with the performance.
Howell (Mooreville, Miss.) notched a height of 3.05 m in the Women's Pole Vault to grab the top mark in the event.
Gardner-Webb track & field will be back in action Saturday, May 5 to compete at the Bob Pollock Invitational (Clemson, S.C.).
