GWU Golfers Kim and Byles Post Top-20 Finishes at Ontario Amateur Championship

Richmond Hill, Ontario - Gardner-Webb rising senior Daniel Kim and rising redshirt-junior Daley Byles each posted a top-20 finish at the Investors Group Ontario Amateur Championship on July 10-13 at The Summit Golf & Country Club in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada.
Kim carded rounds of 71, 70, 71 and 67 over the four round event, turning in a combined tournament score of 279, -5 under par, to finish in fourth-place overall. Kim, who was only three strokes off the lead for the three-day event, recorded 14 birdies and 50 pars overall.
Byles, who finished in a three-way tie for 16th-place, finished with rounds of 74, 73, 68 and 75 to card a final score of 290, +6 over par, overall. The redshirt-junior totaled one eagle, 11 birdies and 44 pars for the three-day event.
