Lewiston, N.Y. - Rising senior golfer Daniel
Kim finished in a six-way tie for 30th-place overall at the
54th Annual Porter Cup held at the par 70, 6,871 yards Niagara
Falls Country Club in Lewiston, N.Y. from July 18-21st.
Kim carded a first round 70, even par, on Wednesday, and a 69,
-1 under par, on Thursday to held into the third round of play with
a two-round combined score of 239, -1 under par.
The two-time Big South All-Conference performer carded a 71, +1
over par, over each of the final rounds to finish in a six-way tie
for 30th-place overall with a combined score of 281, +1 over
par.
Kim posted 12 birdies over the four rounds of play, including
five birdies over 18-holes of play during his second round 69, -1
under par, on Tuesday.
Richy Werenski of South Hadley, Massachusetts won the event, as
he carded a combined four day score of 263, -17 under par, en route
to the victory.
