
GWU's Allum and Hellyer Compete at the Investors Group Ontario Women's Amateur Championship

Bath, Ontario, Canada - Gardner-Webb rising seniors Meghan Allum and Hannah Hellyer both competed at the Investors Group Ontario Women's Amateur Championship at the Loyalist Country Club in Ontario, Canada earlier this month.
Allum, who is from Markham, Ontario, Canada, posted rounds of 76, 74 and 81 to finish the three-day event with a combined score of 231, +15 over par, placing her in a tie at 22nd-place overall.
Allum recorded 38 pars and three birdies over the three rounds of play, including turning in eight pars and one birdie over the final nine holes of her second round of play.
Hellyer, who hails from Stirling, Ontario, Canada, carded rounds of 80, 76 and 81 for a three-round combined tournament score of 237, +21 over par, putting her in a tie for 37th-place overall.
The two-time Big South All-Conference performer carded nine birdies and 22 pars for the three-day event, tallying four birdies on day two of play.
Brittany Marchand of Orangeville, Ontario, Canada, won the event, as she posted rounds of 73, 69 and 67 to finish the three-day event at 209, -7 under par.
