Gardner-Webb Women's Soccer Prepares for Trio of Matches This Week

Boiling Springs, N.C. - The Gardner-Webb women's soccer team is set to compete in three matches the week of September 10 - September 17, beginning a Tuesday road tilt at USC Upstate.
GWU (0-4) will continue to look to break out of its offensive drought, as the Runnin' Bulldogs travel to take on a Spartans squad which won its home opener at VMI (1-0, 2OT), but has since dropped 5 straight matches and surrendered 21 goals during its current losing streak.
After its road tilt in Spartanburg, S.C., the Runnin' Bulldogs travel to Cullowhee, N.C. to participate in the Western Carolina Invitational. GWU takes on host WCU (3-3) on Friday, September 14 prior to doing battle with Louisiana-Lafayette (4-3) on a neutral field in the first ever meeting between the two schools.
Gardner-Webb's match vs. USC Upstate is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. GWU's WCU Invitational matches are slated for 7:30 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. start times respectively.
