GWU Wrestling Hosts One-Day Fall Clinic on Saturday

Boiling Springs, N.C. - The Gardner-Webb wrestling program hosted a one-day fall clinic on Saturday morning, September 15th, in Paul Porter Arena on the campus of Gardner-Webb University.
"We are always excited to give back to the local community, whether it be through a clinic such as this or going to schools, etc.," head coach Daniel Elliott commented. "We had over 60 kids show up which is a great turn out. Our guys really appreciated and enjoyed working with the kids on wrestling techniques and skill work."
The camp, which was run by Coach Elliott and his assistant coaches Joe Nord and Kyle Blevins, included two technique sessions that included skills breakdown and instruction from the Gardner-Webb wrestlers.
Over 60 kids ranging from ages 4 to 18 attended the one-day camp.
