
GWU's Clarke Still Tops in the Nation in Goals and Goals Per Game

Indianapolis, Ind. - With his three goals last week in Gardner-Webb's 5-0 win over UNC Asheville, junior Denzel Clarke increased his season goal total to 15 overall on the season to remain atop of the NCAA Division I national rankings that were released on Monday, October 28th.
Clarke ranks first overall in the nation among all NCAA Division I men's soccer student-athletes in goals per game with an average of 1.00 per contest and in total goals with 15 on the year.
The forward also ranks second nationally in points per game with an average of 2.07 and in total points with 31.
Clarke leads the Big South Conference in goals per game, points per game, total goals and total points this season.
